Wildlife is active all year round however some of the migratory species only arrive in the wet season and cool night time temperatures can limit activity for some other species. Wet Season is alive with nesting wildlife, arrival of migratory species and the best time to be out on the water as the SE winds leave us and glass out conditions are regular. The wet season can be very hot and wet with regular flooding of the National Park, however we never lose access to the Airport or Lockhart River township. Fortunately all our rooms have air-conditioning and our pool is available year round!
